Yes we are. Don't do business with a company that's not licensed, bonded and insured. If your contractor can't prove to you that he is legally licensed through the State of Virginia or The State of Maryland, don't sign a contract with them.
They must also show you their insurance information as well. There is a very simple reason that you must see all of this information.
YOU RUN THE RISK OF BEING SUED AND POSSIBLY LOSING YOUR HOME

NOVA Exteriors, Inc. has been in business since 1995, over 7 years. We have beaten the odds issued by the Small Business Administration: "...96% of all contractors FAIL within 5 years of starting a business..." We beat the statistical odds because we employ sound business practices, the best products, a quality installation crew, and fair pricing.
For many years we were National Window Systems, Inc. When we started expanding our product offering, management felt that NOVA Exteriors better reflected our product selections. So we changed the name, but not the focus of what has made us successful:
Customer Service. (Top
The goal of most home improvement companies is to be able to tell their prospective customers that they don't have any outstanding complaints. Most companies can't make that statement:
WE CAN!
In the 10 years that we've been in business, and out of the 2,000+ projects that we've completed, we don't have any outstanding complaints.
We are proud of our record because it exemplifies what we believe:
OUR JOB ISN'T COMPLETED UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE JOB!
Providing references is the easy part. We encourage homeowners to not be fooled by references. Yes, checking a companies reference is what we've all been taught to do. It does verify that the contractor does good work.
Of course, no one puts a bad reference on a resume, and no company will put a bad reference on a list. We provide a reference list because that's what's expected.
We provide something that's far more important than a list of jobs we've completed.
We feel our guarantee is far more impressive and realistic than calling people that we know will tell you how great we are.
Unlike many of our competitors, we don't require a down payment with an approved credit application. The reason that we don't require a deposit is because we are financially secure to the point that we don't need your deposit money to buy materials or pay our employees.
Home improvement companies that require a deposit do so because they aren't going to invest their money into your home, and trust you to pay after the job is completed.
